Honey Chicken Breasts and Fried Bananas
Ingredients -
3 lbs chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless
½ cup honey
1 stick butter
3 bananas, not too ripe
Preparation:
Melt the butter in an ovenproof skillet and add the honey and then the chicken.
Turn the heat down, cooking the chicken for 20 minutes.
Turn the chicken a few times as it cooks.
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
Slice the bananas and add them to the skillet, then cover it and transfer it to the oven.
Bake the Bahamian chicken recipe for 45 minutes.
If there is too much liquid left at the end, you can add between ¼ cup and ½ cup of light cream and turn the liquid into a tasty sauce.
