A Grilled Chicken Recipe with an Asian Flavor

 
 
For an easy grilled boneless chicken recipe which has the wonderful flavor of the orient, you are sure to enjoy this one. Many people are unsure how to cook bbq chicken but with this recipe you can't go wrong. Soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic and ginger are used as a marinade for the chicken.

It is best to leave the chicken to marinate overnight for the flavors to mingle and for the chicken to absorb as much of the taste as possible. After that, you simply grill the chicken for four or five minutes on each side over a medium heat. You might want to boil the chicken in hot water for a couple of minutes before grilling them, just to ensure the inside is cooked properly.

 

Oriental Barbecued Chicken

 
 
Ingredients -
 
6 chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless
2 tablespoons honey
1 garlic clove
2 teaspoons sliced ginger
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
¼ cup soy sauce
 
Preparation:
 

Combine the honey, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger in a Ziploc bag and add the chicken.

Shake the bag, ensuring the chicken is covered evenly in the marinade.

Let it marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

Preheat the grill to medium high and grill the chicken until it is cooked through.

Discard the marinade to avoid food contamination.

If you prefer to make a sauce with the marinade, add a cup of water to it and boil it for 5 minutes.

This will kill any bacteria from the raw chicken.
