The Easiest and Best Indoor Grill Recipes
Indoor grills mean you can cook your favorite grilled foods, rain or shine. Using an indoor electric grill is not that different from using an outdoor gas grill because you can control the heat easily and cook all your favorite dishes on it.
There are many George Foreman indoor grill recipes and other grill recipes, including basic grilled fish and meat dishes, as well as grilled vegetable recipes like eggplant or corn on the cob.
Meat is wonderful on any kind of grill and you can grill lamb burgers, lamb chops, steaks, pork chops and much more on your Hamilton Beach indoor grill or whichever model of indoor grill you are using.
Handy Indoor Grill Cooking Tips
Never use a gas or charcoal grill indoors, or even on a screened porch or in a garage, because the dangerous fumes build up quickly. Only use indoor grills for grilling indoors. An indoor grill needs to be hot before you add the food, so preheat them before cooking.
If you are using a two-sided indoor grill, you can reduce the cooking time of your food by half because the food cooks simultaneously on both sides. For less smoke and an easier cleanup, blot marinated meats before cooking them.
Do not use meat with bones in. Meat shrinks as it cooks but bones do not. They also hold the meat away from the surface of the indoor grill, so it will take longer to cook and it will be steamed rather than grilled.
Turn the grill off, unplug it, and let it cool before cleaning it. You can put wet paper towels in the partly cooled grill and the moisture and heat will loosen any grilled-on food. Next, simply wipe the grill clean.
