Sometimes you do not need flavor overload and this chicken and bacon recipe is great as it is. Your guests are sure to love these and ask for more or maybe ask you for the recipe. These are baked appetizers so if you make more, you do not have to leave the party and stand over the stove. These will bake to perfection unsupervised. Anyone who enjoys chicken and bacon together will enjoy these sweet and spicy little treats.
For a tasty, delicious appetizer, which everyone is sure, to want more of, these chicken fried bacon treats are really mouthwatering. The chili powder and brown sugar give a hot type of sweetness to the meat and go very well. You can fry these bacon wrapped chicken cubes instead of broiling them but, if you do, make sure you drain them well on kitchen paper afterwards so they are crispy rather than soggy.
For a slight variation, you can put some salty blue cheese inside the chicken. Do not use mozzarella though, because it melts too easily and will end up all over the pan. Blue cheese is runnier and does not go stringy. You don't need to serve a sauce with these chicken fried bacon bites because they are moist enough but if you do want to serve something, what about a cranberry or redcurrant dipping sauce or perhaps something creamy to contrast with the sweetened chili?
This chicken fried bacon recipe also makes a tasty snack and if you like the sound of bacon wrapped chicken with a sweet chili topping you will very much enjoy this easy chicken and bacon recipe. Calling for just four ingredients, this is one of the simplest ways to use up your boneless chicken breasts. You can wrap all kinds of things with bacon, including shrimps, banana pieces, pineapple, dates and more, but chicken and bacon are especially nice together. The strong flavor of the bacon, as well as its saltiness, complements the mild, soft flavor of the chicken. Maybe you tend not to mix your meats in recipes but dishes like these chicken fried bacon appetizers and mixed meat kabobs prove that combining different meats, or meats from different animals, can not only work but also work very well.
